Hey guys - I just got my new Sadowsky MV4. Simple looking, but the tonal capabilities seem endless. I'm not impressed that easily and this bass is a dream. It costs less than twice what a new Fender Jazz bass costs, and I would say it's 5 times the bass. I'm playing it through my SVT-II non-pro and SVT-410HLF. Can you say JPJ?

The pic is from Sadowsky's website. I took some pics but they were too large.

Nice bass!!!!! I've been wanting a jazz 5 - maybe the Metro is the way to go since I want a solid black one.

Very nice. I'd be tempted to see how a tort PG would look on it.

Thanks for all the compliments. You guys all know how a great musical instrument is worth its weight in gold. I don't know why people think a good quality musical instrument should be "cheap". I would like to know more about this "controversy" that I'm now a member of. Regarding the looks - I *hope* nobody notices it - I don't want to attrack attention, I just want to play great bass.

BTW - It's all about good value, whether it's $2,000. I also just got an Epiphone "Dot" series sunburst hollow body. I got it at MF - "B" stock for $299.00. I recently read an article about how the president of Epiphone has a new vision for the company, etc. They just opened their own plant in China, and I got "lucky" and mine is from their new China plant. I became very intriguied with "Epiphone" again. What a great guitar for $299.00. I'm tempted to sell my $1600.00 Les Paul and buy an Epiphone for $500, and actually believe I have an instrument that's as good if not better than a Gibson.
