Gotta admit it, Colin Powell is impressive...

  1. Articulate, intelligent, reasonable but passionate.

I never liked him much, but I agree...both him and the French Foreign Minister impressed me a lot. It's a long time since I saw two politicans look like they really ment what they were saying.

I agree. Presidential material IMO. Don't know if his military background lends itself to all the political BS.

Wow, that's quite a compliment from you, Andy.

I know you're no fan of U.S. policy and politics.

I appreciate the fact that you have the integrity to say something like that.

If only others -- all across the political spectrum -- could be that honest.

If you like him in with the whole orchestra, you should check out his solo records.

Always liked him. Seemed to always be interested in doing what's best for the country instead of what's best for himself and his political agenda.

Though you're not really suppose to post political threads anymore. :p
  8. I'm a big fan of his too.

Although you and I often disagree, Mr. D, I have always respected your willingness to call `em as you see `em.

Your insights on Turkey have been most interesting and keep my mind more open.
