Gotts me a nice custom surf green P!

    couldn't just keep it in my room, it simply had to be posted here!

    don't mind the basses in the back, that's old news! :D

    Dang. Thats beautiful. God how I wish Fender would bring this finish back on the Am Standards. I love the combo with the tort guard.

    same here, thats why I had it done. But i also wanted alder, a maple neck, block inlays and all, so I figured I'd just have it done this way, it was cheaper than the custom shop, plus I managed to get to the luthiers every little bit to check up on what I did and didnt like!
    and its nitro finish,which was a bit of a must for me!

    I have also just got a Surf green P, last week! A '90 MIJ. Awesome color, awesome bass!

  8. That is nice. I just got a Fender MIM P bass metallic sage green and i put a red tort guard on. I will have to post pics.
     
  9. I would have never though of a red tort pickguard on the surf green, but that looks very nice
