Has anybody ever seen a graphite pick? Mike Gordon (Phish) uses them, and the attack he gets is unreal...If so where could I get some...He was interviewed in Bass Player a couple years ago and said that Ken Smith made them, but the guys at Ken Smith say that this is a rumor and that they never have made graphite picks.

    Thanks in advance,

    Adam

We all know that it is all about Jim Dunlop .88 milimeter picks.

I use Modulus graphite picks and love 'em. I bought a bag of 100 ($25) off their website about about two years ago, and I still have plenty left. I gave a few to both of the guitarists in my band and now they swear by them too.

They are rather thin and light, but very stiff. I think they only come in one gauge. The Modulus logo is raised off the surface of the pick, which makes them easy to hold on to.

I think Dunlop also makes a graphite pick (but they call it carbon nylon).
