    hey whats the pedal you see at the start of the video? Its being used by the bass player, but I've never seen one before.

    lol never mind. I just realized its a super fuzz. mystery solved on what he used.

    Adam Yauch uses a Univox SuperFuzz pedal (the red one) ... you can see the pedal on the top of his amp head here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/oscilloscope/495719535/

    He also used a "DNA Analogic BD-1 Bass Dragger Distortion Pedal" ... this pedal also functions as a booster and was made in Japan. If MCA (Yauch) also used it for the recording session of the great "Check your head" album ... in donĀ“t know, but he used the BD-1 and the Univox Super Fuzz live on stage 2007 tour.

    Not 100% sure which pedal he uses on "Gratitude" and/or "Sabotage". I did a version of Gratitude with acBig Muff (green) + WahWah ... great sound!
