    My band is going to cover this song, and this is what i came up with for the bassline.

    G||----------------------|------------------------||
    D||----------------------|-----------------------*||
    A||--0----0--5-----5--|--7---7--5--7---5--*||
    E||----------------------|------------------------||

    I played Grease in Feb for four nights. I'll check if I still have the music.

    Nope

    I suggest that you get a chord chart for it and stick to root fifth. There are a lot of changes and the middle bit (Elvis Elvis let me be, keep that pelvis far from me) is different to the rest of the song Bb?

    Good luck

  6. this is "summer nights" and not "look at me im sandra dee"

    by the way ....; summer night is played this way

    Gl----------------------l
    Dl----------------------l
    Al------3--35-53-5-3---l
    El---3-3-------------3--l

    For the main theme ..... the rest of the song isn't so easy
