Great 1860's German Bass for sale

    The bass is German approx 1860's with no label. It has a very handsome golden brown varnish,roundback, string length is 42" and is an easily playable instrument.
    It is very, very healthy - sturdy and has been on several tours in a flight case throughout Europe & the States without problem. A tremendous recording bass as well a performing instrument, it has been used on many record dates, film scores, jingles as well as jazz clubs and festivals , classical work both chamber & orchestral at Carnegie Hall and Broadway pits.
    Asking price is $16,000 there is no case
    Located in Greenwich Village, Manhattan
    I'm not really interested in shipping.
