So for sale is my Yamaha BBG5-S. This is a great bass. If you're considering going the 5 route, or just want to check one out, this is a great one. I bought it to replace my American Deluxe Jazz 5 just about a year ago. I actually ended up liking it better (I sold the jazz to buy a head, and needed a "temp" bass).

Finish is sunburst. I don't know the actual term for the color, but it's a lot like a 3-tone fender sunburst, but with a more red tint instead of brown. It ends in black though. It has active electronics, an alder body, gold hardware, a wide neck (19mm spacing if I remember correctly), 24 frets, and I believe it's 34" scale (but it's never felt like it lacked tension IMO).

There are a few scratches/ dings, but the bass is in overall good used condition. I have the "missing" knob. It was loose when I bought the bass and eventually loosened its way off. I don't have any allen wrenches, otherwise I'd put it right back on. I did my best to show every mark I could find in the pictures.

I was going to sell it at Guitar Center; but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. They told me they used to sell new for $6-700, but I can't personally verify that (if anyone else can, that'd be awesome).

I'm selling it because my Bongo is getting all of the play time and I need the cash for a new amp. :hyper:

I'm looking for $170 plus shipping. I have a Fender harshell case that I could ship it in; but I'd have to charge extra (I'd need to buy a gig bag or new case for the Bongo...).

    PICS HERE...

    PM or email me.

So I just picked this up from the practice space. It's in need of a setup, so I'm going to drop the price...

    $170

I'd do it myself; but I've got way too much on my hands right now.

I just recorded some soundclips. I'm not sure exactly how to post them; but I might be able to email them if you're interested.

    Bump.

I really do need to sell this. I did do a minor setup, so the intonation is pretty good now; I'm just too much of a scaredy-cat to mess with the truss rod.

I guess I'm open to offers, since I need the cash pretty badly.

    and No Trades.... please.
