    What's the best song intros in your opinion? Bass, guitar or drums. Even voice.

    My favs are:

    The Byrds: Turn, Turn, Turn (guitar + bass)
    Janes Addiction: Stop (guitar) and Ain't No Right (bass)
    R.E.M: The One I Love (guitar)
    Pixies: Velouria (guitar)
    The Smiths: This Charming Man (guitar)

  9. dammit - blink 182 (this intro changed my life man!)

    nirvana - smells like teen spirit (thats a guitar intro most of us have come to grow and love. that song changed my whole life)

    black sabbath - N.I.B., Iron Man

    creed - whats this life for, my own prison

    ours - sometimes

    vandals - theme for glory daze, live fast diahrea

    metallica - one, master of puppets, and most of their older stuff has the coolest intros

  11. I dunno, MTV was showing some really cool videos at about 1 a.m. (MTV shows some cool videos in the wee hours of the morning) and that video came on, and I was like "whoa, awesome song!" I've yet to meet another person who has heard of them. I downloaded that song, and it rawks. I dunno why they are called "Ours", but they are awesome.

    ---"Dealing Dreams" (LIVE) (it's unreleased but I'm sure it's lurking around the internet somewhere. Great bass solo as well!)

    ---"What Difference Does it Make" (The Smiths) (I just love the guitar part before the verse begins..I actually had to learn the bassline for my lesson not to long ago. It's really fun to play. :))

    ---"Wave of Mutilation" (The Pixies)

    ---"In The Meantime" (Spacehog)

    ---"Lakini's Juice" (LIVE) (Oh I love how Pat D slides his pick up the bass in the intro and how the strings seem to "fall down"!)

    Lots more I can't think of right now that are equally great than what I have...maybe even better. They may not be the best but they're great in my opinion. :)
