Up for grabs is this Greco TB900 thunderbird bass. These single-pickup models are so-so rare and are notorious for that big piano growl from that hot pick-up placed in the sweet-spot. Looks suspiciously like that holy grail 60's bird (that go for $10K). At 1/3 throttle it's a lot like a p-bass. At 2/3 it's a classic 60's bird. Wide open it eats 7ender strats whole. This thing came to me very road worn and without a pickguard or case about ten years ago. I lost flex in my hands and only play short scale basses now. Otherwise this would still be my main axe. The bridge is mounted crooked but I left it alone because it is intonated well and stays in tune. $875 via PayPal only, shipped CONUS only. You can take a listen how it sounds with 4 year old strings right here, directly into my laptop no preamp: {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
The Thunderbird sticker alone is worth the purchase. My goodness, that does sound good and growl-ly! GLWTS!
