Seriously? The number '8' is a letter in Greek?!

    brad cook

  12. Actually no, this is Greeklish ;) We have to write Greek using the English alphabet in order to appear in the websites which don't support Greek characters  We have a letter though which looks like "8" but actually is the letter "O" with a line in the middle.
I hope you understood what I just said :p

    Something about feta-cheese?

Must be, because during my 10 day stay in Greece, feta cheese was served 3 times every meal, times 3 (breakfast, lunch, supper). I've had enough feta for the rest of my life.

Oh, and your local transportboat captains are crazy :D

  14. + 1 you guys are nuts :D

    theta?

the greek alphabet is awesome. there are only a few letters i haven't seen yet in math or physics.

and my friend and i have decided that the letter "psi" was engineered to strike fear into a mortal's soul.

look at this and NOT be terrified!

if that didn't do the trick, this should:

it's a giant searing trident that will gouge out your eyes with the left and right prongs... and your soul with the middle one. :(

  20. I can't eat any greek food without feta, it's impossible :smug:
Everyone's crazy here, I don't know why, too much sun, too much ouzo, who knows...

Yea, that's the letter theta... As for "psi", come on, when I write it doesn't look terryfing at all! Of course my letters are a bit... clumsy

Although using any letter in maths makes it look terryfing...
