I'm replacing the pots in my OLP bass and the one pot has a green capictor with the numer A0001......will it hurt if I don't put the capictor back on my new pots....the pickup will be a Nordstrand MM4.2???

    Thanks!!

That capacitor is what makes your tone knob a tone knob.

Use it, or one of the same or similar capacitance to get your passive tone to operate properly.

    Not a value ;)

I used to work for a semiconductor distributor, seldom were the parts actually labelled, especially cheapies like those.

    Probably about a .1uF.
