This color combo is surprisingly sweet.
Saw that one on Instagram.
G&L really knows how to make a bass look special.
If only it had a matching headstock...
What really makes it look so good is the dark edge on the sunburst. If it was a straight green stain, it wouldn't look as sharp.
Yeah, sweet bass, for sure.
My eyes. Easily remedied with a black guard though. Would be ideal with an ebony board as well.
I’m usually good with tort on most any finish. I’m thinking a mint or white, maybe white pearl.
I agree about changing to a black guard but solid black.
I love that G&L doesn’t shy away from real greens like pretty much every other big builder. Fender has recently gotten a bit bolder with greens other than sea foam, but G&L has always done green well.
i know of a green G&l on this site thats a fretless that is stunning to look at,,that company has some beautiful finish choices..very droolie for sure..
G&L has some of the most beautiful finishes in the business.
Their ash bodies have the most beautiful grain.
And their Instagram page is fun to follow.
I'm not anti-tort. But that particular bass would look better with a black guard to me.
That looks STUNNING with the tort. Do not change a thing. Great color combo.
