I haven't bought it, but I watched majority of the tracklisting when they were advertising it on TV. It seems like it mostly consist of the "MTV hits". Which isn't a bad thing. But I think that they should have put more songs from 39/Smooth and Kerplunk on. (Even though, since those albums were underground, they technically couldn't have any "Hits" with those) I saw the video for one of the new songs on the album, which I thought was pretty catchy and good. If you are a serious Greenday fan, I would advise getting all their individual albums. If you just want some accesible Greenday in your collection, then I would say get the hits package. p.s. I always thought Mike Dirnt was a very underrated bass player.
yeah, i have been a green day fan since 1995 when i was in 5th grade, there first two cds were always better in my opinion, Warning sucked and it kinda made me like them less, and this new "superhits" screams SELLOUT!!! i say we ban green day, or at least using the word punk to describe them, fact is, the never were punk, and they especially arent now I wouldnt buy this cd, if you want some classic green day, buy 1039 smooth If you want some MTV green day, dowload it off the internet, its not like green day needs the money anyways
