    Hi!
The title says it all...I am curious to hear if anyone here has tried or is using a Greer lightspeed OD and what their impressions/opinion of this pedal is, used with bass.

    Thanks!

I tried it this afternoon. I'm primarily a guitarist, and got a Lightspeed several months ago. It's become one of my favorite OD pedals for guitar. So I plugged it into my bass rig alongside a Pork Loin that has become my go-to OD on the bass.

It's got some similarities to the Pork Loin, but can be MUCH brighter. I got similar tones to the Pork Loin with the tone control at about 10 o'clock on the Lightspeed and the Pork Loin maxed. Bass did not seem to be cut any appreciable amount. It was a very nice tone with the OD playing well with the original signal.

Thanks for the review! Will try to test it out somewhere. How does it play with other pedals? Was it near to first in your chain?

It was in the middle of my small board. MXR envelope, BOSS PH-1r phaser and Way Huge Swollen Pickle before, Way Huge Pork Loin and BOSS DC-2w after. No issues with the other pedals.
