I'm a long-time lurker and I figured it was time to participate.

I'm Jason and I've been playing bass since I was 16 (I'm going to be 38 at the end of the month). I've owned a ton of bass gear throughout the years and currently I'm down to one bass at the moment, a Rick 4003 FG. I'm hoping to rebuild my collection.

Which brings me to my question for you all: I've been looking for a Victor Bailey fretted 4, but I found a 2005 American Deluxe Jazz FMT in Tobacco Sunburst. I'm aware of the differences between these two models and wondering if the Deluxe is worth getting over the Bailey. I've never had both side by side to A/B, so I'm hoping that the guys who have played both will chime in. Also, I can make an offer on the Deluxe and I'm looking for guidance on how much that bass is worth in the current market. They seem to be a bit rare.
