Gretsch Thunder Jet vs. Spectra Sonic

    Looking for any info on the Spectra Sonic especially. Seem to be very similar basses & very close prices.

    Don't know how much this will help but if the bass is anything like my 6143 lead it's one hell of a guitar!

    ...thanks very much for the info, there's almost nothing on the Spectra Sonic bass...guess if I want it, I'll need to take a leap of faith, lol...

    ...actually, looks like it probably preeceed & was replaced by the Thunder Jet...

    ...I've seen the Electrotone, but I just don't think I can, personally, get past the painted "f" holes...
