I've decided I want a groove tools 4 string , but I'm up in canada and I don't know where to look. I found one on musicians fiend, but they won't ship to canada ( and it's a good price too!).any suggestions?
Try other online bass shops like www.bassnw.com that do sell internationally. Also, don't forget www.ebay.com - some good deals there sometimes. I got my GT-7 from there.
Hey, Let me know what region you are in. I have seen a number of Groove Tools basses at different places across the country. I am in Kingston, ON, but I buy all my equipment from Axe Music in Edmonton, because even with the shipping I get a better deal through them. I know they do a lot of shipping cause they are one of the biggest Dingwall Dealers and they sell them to people all over the place (ok, a little off topic). But they carry Groove Tools, as do a few other places let me know and I'll try to give you a location nearer to you. DingZ2
Hey, I had the same problem.. the conklin website doesn't mention any canadian dealers. I went to a music store that's about an hour away and asked if they were able to get conklins and they told me they could.. they just said that the rep only comes around once every few months. So maybe check out some of your local music stores and just ask if they are able to get them.
Archambault music in Montreal have them. I can probably find the phone number for you if you want. Last time I went there they had a 7 string in stock, maybe they have more now. They probably can order a 4 for you.
Thanks alot guys, I knew I could count on the TBers for some suggestions. Ding, I'm around Sudbury Ontario and the dealers here really suck. Is there no canadian equivalent to musicians friend online? If any of you know, please tell us canucks. I wish musicians friend did ship. They have a 4 in the blem section for 479 US. I'd order it right now if I could. Oh well, the search continues.
