Does anyone out there happen to have a GT Ditto DI box? I need a close up shot of the inside. I have a resistor that needs replaced and my tech can not determine the value since it's fried. I've searched everywhere for a schematic, but since they've been discontinued I've had no luck. Fender purchased GT and has not been any help. Thanks
There are a couple of options. Post the same question over in the Tech forum at TapeOp, http://messageboard.tapeop.com. You can also send a message to Drew at Analog Planet, http://www.analogplanet.com/default.html. Yes he's a pro audio dealer but his customer service is awesome and he'd probably be able to get a pic for you or at least a value. Tell him Brad from Evergroove sent you his way... Let us know how it works out!
Useless post, other than a bump. Chris, good luck with this - I hope you can get it fixed. I used one of these boxes for the first time at a session last month... ...the sound was well beyond awesome. I really can't justify adding another DI to the arsenal right now, but when I do I really think this will be the one. Again, good luck with everything.
Thanks for the bumps guys! I'll shoot Drew an email and let you know how it turns out. Jerry, I love this box for recording and IEM gigs. I put a set of NOS Telefunkens in there and wow! Ergonomically, it's a hefty box, but I love what it does.
I've been looking at the Ditto for use with my Double Bass when I get it in a couple of weeks. How do you like it?
I don't double much and have never had the opportunity to use. It's very warm and round with electric.
Drew was unable to help. Back to square one hoping someone out there can take a snapshot of the guts.
