Groove Tubes GT bass preamp on the 'bay???????

Anybody know anything about these? I need someone with more preamp knowledge than me to tell me about this.

Rig that it would be used in is a Peavey CS800 into a Peavey 4x10 and a Peavey 1x15. I run a Sonic Maximizer in the effects loop. I'm playing a Peavey Cirrus. My current preamp is a Peavey Bassist and I like it but I have caught the try new things bug (much to my wife's irritation) and would like to try some tube preamps. I was looking for a Peavey Max when this caught my eye. The sound I'm looking for is modern "growl" while retaining some versatility for future interests.
