Ground switch on Sansamp

    OK educate the ignorant please. What does this do exactly? What the heck is "ground"? People talk about it all the time and I always nod my head in agreement like I know what it means but I don't and I never actually cared until I got this cool little box. If I need anything REMOTELY electrical done I call an electrician. Thanks..

  2. if youre talking about the "phantom power" switch on a sans amp bass driver i believe it can draw power thru the XLR plug from a power amp so it doesnt need a 9v battery. ??

    Yeah, it does do that. I was just wondering about the definition of "ground" itself. I have found some resources on the web that is making it somewhat clearer though. Thanks.
