I'm routing for my new pickups, and in the process there is some sections of the cavity not covered by the sheilding paint. I have EMG 35's (a P and a J) and they are interanally grounded...does this mean I don't have to wory about the sheilding in the pickup cavities? What about the control cavity?

If it is an issue, sheilding tape is pretty cheap, but I'd like to know prior so I don't have to be dissapointed with a humming bass right off.
