Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Slowmodemfoo, Feb 21, 2002.

  1. I wasn't quite sure what catagory to put this in, but can anyone inform me on how to put a knob back on my bass? just the knob fell off, not the little post thing it goes on. Thanks for your help.

if it has a little screw in the side, back it out, put it over the shaft, and tighten.

if not, just jam it back on.

usually the plastic knobs pop on and off and the metal ones have a screw in the side. if you lost the screw, your screwed:D

If it's one of those push on buttons, you can put a bit of scotch tape over the shaft and push the knob over that. The increased shaft radius should keep the button in place.

A tiny bit of elmers glue or gel stuff will keep it on without having it on so tight that it will break if you try to take it off [to change knobs maybe?]. thats all
