So my MIA Deluxe jazz is getting a new neck. 2 pieces of 25 five years old quarter sawn grumixava with a center of quarter sawn pau ferro. {} {} {} Damn, I never knew that pau ferro could look so beautiful. Thats really some 3d quilt. And the "flameness" of the grumixava makes it even classier. Im happy.
The luthier claims its very similar to maple on the mechanical aspect, but its fancier and more expensive. The original plan was going with maple, but it happened an accident with the 1st neck and he didnt any more supply of maple, so to speed up things i got this free upgrade.
