    I couldnt decide between these 2 cabs :
    So i got em both :D
    The Aggy has a scooped hi-fi sort of sound that I love for small electric gigs
    The Bag End has stronger mids and the thump I prefer with my DB for for bluegrass and swing.
    Together they compliment each other very nicely for a big full range tone. They're also very easy on the back!
  2. hey Jim. very nice looking rig. it that the WT550 head?

    if so. i'm considering getting a very similar rig. the WT550 and 2 aggie 1x12's.

    any chance of a more detailed review for the aggie, and maby a review of the eden?

    @Tom... mine's a 400 head, there's a good thread on the 550 here though http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=125252&highlight=wt550
    The aggie's an incredeble cab for its size and seems to pair very well with the Eden heads. The tweeter's very snappy without sounding brittle. Most important to me as I get older is the sound quality to weight ratio. I'm just not into schlepping big cabinets around anymore. Bass Player mag did a 112 shootout a few years ago and the Aggie came out on top. You can read it here..http://archive.bassplayer.com/gear/1x12s.shtml
    There's a very noticable mid scoop to these cabs that not every one likes.. I suggest you try one (or 2) out before you buy them.
    If your looking for a very portable rig with a very big sound, I think your on the right track... good luck ;)
  4. thanks for that Jim. i'll check out the links now.

    when you say 'mid scoop' do you mean scooped out or scooped up (boosted)?
