  6. Damn, excane!

Way to boost a post count. :D

I have no idea, unless RC's descriptions and my interpretations don't mean the same thing. Or unless RC is a bold face liar.:bag:

I'm going through my mind, trying to visualize all the pedals I know or have played with three knobs and a "mode selector" which I picture as a toggle. Maybe I'm going down the wrong path....

  10. lot of interesting guesses. chunk excane, dakpluto and ftp have all got slowly clicking geieger counters

should I just come out and tell you?

  11. Yes you should tell us, but just for fun I'm saying you recorded it on that B2.1u you were looking to ship out.

Three knobs, one mode switch? Hmmmm.

  13. :bag:CHEAPBASSLOVIN WINS... nothing

but it was in fact the Dallas Arbiter Germanium Fuzz Face model on the Zoom B2.1u!!!!!

  14. That was an even dirtier trick than the BassDriver. Tool. :D

I'm gonna take my nothing and purchase some more GAS with it. Such a deal.

  15. it WAS a dirty trick. but also something to keep in mind when you wonder if audiences can appreciate your 3000 dollar pedalboard!

I shipped the zoom out today, so I can't pull the trick again... get ready for MYSTERY BASS OVERDRIVE later this week

assuming none of you have killed me for this in the meantime! :bag:

  16. :)

I know they can hear the difference with most of my effects, I just don't know if they care. :(

And seriously, I think I'm only looking at 1400 right now. Very affordable.

It just stole a little of my soul to write that.

  17. I didn't mean YOU per se, but you get the idea

If the zoom had more effects modelling options, I might have kept it as a headphone amp. Many of the amp models sounded pretty good. I wasn't too impressed by the modulation effects (LIGHT YEARS better modelling on the TC Nova Mod).

The fuzz face model is obviously decent - look at the high end pedals people were naming! I'm not saying it sounds "authentic" but it could definitely work as a convincing germanium fuzz in many contexts.

I was guessing blended pedals I didn't own at any point.
