    So would I, as soon as I pay off part of my Christmas gift (upright bass) I'm going to chase down a maple neck.

    Do MIM Jazz's even come in a maple fingerboard version?

    Thanks! I don't even consider it Mexican anymore, considering it was hand assembled in the US by yours truly :p. But no, they don't offer maple fretboard versions, which I can't understand because they offer Squier's and MIM Guitars with maple boards.

    Oh well, thank God for the aftermarket :)
