OK. I shouldn't have reminded you about the pics rule. I wish I hadn't seen that. Man, I'm such a sucker for those black blocks and binding.

Get some pics of your actual bass up soon. The real thing is always best.

Nice score man, I hate you more than ever! :spit: :bawl: :D

I love black pickguards on natural wood.

I like the sound clip too, I can't wait till I can play like that. But hey, I've only been playing since september :D

    I'm workin on it...

    thanks!

my wife and i just happened into a local guitar center.

    she LOVED this one.

i asked the guy point blank...

"you don't mind me "renting" this for 30 days do ya?"

he laughed, and said, that's what it is for...checking stuff out.

    so, there ya go...expect another

"should i keep the American Jazz" poll in a few weeks.

    :D

this one plays as nice as the GL.

i was really squirmin' for a 4 string fretted Jazz. this should hold me over until my BIG arrival.

  13. That is a sweet looking bass.I had one back in 79 that was exactly the same with the natural ash, black inlays and black pickgaurd and thought it was the best looking bass I'd ever seen.I traded a guy my 72 black Ric 4003 even for it and used it for a year or so.

    Great bass,congrats.

    hehe, sure!!!!!!!!! :p

ya know, everytime i went into a GC i kept drooling over the Geddy Lee Jazzes and debated buying it again.

then this particular GC has just gotten this Am Jazz in with my favorite wood combo.

i didn't have a lot of faith. but when i plugged it in...yeeow!

there's something about a passive 4 string fretted that just gets me right
