GUESS WHO GOT A NEW RIG!!!

    Somewhere below the 261Hz mark, otherwise known as
    just wanted to let all you guys know that i just got a new rig for myself, and i'm officialy in the 300 watts + club!

    the new rig is:
    1 Peavey MK IV Head
    2 Eminence 4x10 cabs

    ...and i would just like to say:"it's sik as!!!", and you can quote me on that. never again will i doubt the quality of Peavey.

    It took me a bit, but this past weekend's gig made me a believer in Peavey amps too (FireBass)!

    I've got a Mark IV (on top of a Sunn 6x12 cab) that I've been using for years - it's a great head. Congrats!

    Did you get the footswitch for it? Mine didn't come with it, so I'm in the market for one if you know a source : )

    Congrats though, to the poster.

    I use a Peavey Firebass II 700 head, Peavey 115BXBW cab, and Peavey 410TXF cab.

    I get a really good tone, IMO.

    I know HateGear also uses a Firebass with a 115BXBW, he uses a Sonic 6x10 though. :)

    If you like the tone, you're set. Peavey stuff almost refuses to break.

    congrats! my school has always used peavey, its almost impossible to destroy!!!! that combo ( not sure of model ) has survived a trip to colorado, numorous trips around nebraska, and a trip to iowa in the bottom of a bus. still performs as good as it did when we bought it.

    thanks for the votes of confidence guys,

    tonight we (the buffweasels) did a medium sized gig, which gave me a fair chance to really give it something, and what can i say? it worked like a charm!

    72beetle: i bought mine 2nd hand and it didn't come with a pedal but the music store guy i bought it from is chasing it up for me. apart from that i'm still in the market for one too. would be nice to have...
