Greetings - new to this site but looking forward to it :)
I just got a B301 off Ebay in good condition, but for a
few things, not being very familiar with Guild basses
(done lots of work on Fender-oid types) I thought I would ask.
This one is missing a bridge part - the adj wheel that
is in the front of the bridge (bridge rides on two big
honking screws and a little front adjuster) Anybody know
of a shop that may have one in the odds and sods pile?

Also - I was surprised by how "low" the frets are on this
bass! Like they have been seriously dressed. The guy said
it was in storage most of its life - do they start low on Guilds
or did I get a high mileage axe?

I like the sound of the single coil pickup but the hum is a
real drag...Is there anything that fits these without cutting
them up? Thanks for any insights
