Guillermo Klein

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by Brad Maestas, Feb 15, 2006.

  1. I just bought some new music by the Brazilian composer, guitarist and keyboardist, Guillermo Klein at the iTunes store. He is apparently heavily influenced by Hermeto Pascoal, whom I love. I got Guillermo's album "Los Gauchos, Vol. 3" and it's blowing me away. I know that Ben Monder is featured on guitar but I have no clue who else plays on it. Is anyone familiar with Guillermo Klein and more specifically, knows who is playing bass on that particular album?

    Thanks!

  2. Oh yeah, I just got "Los Guachos, Vol. 2" and it's freakin' me out, too!

  3. Aha!
    Allmusic says:
    Fernando Huergo on EB and
    Matt Pavolka on DB

This track is from Fernando's first solo album called "Living These Times", recorded in 2000.

I love his sound. His future looks very promising!!
