Bain Capital leveraged buyout debt really is the kiss of death. Will GC now go the way of Red Lobster?

What? I like Red Lobster a lot more than Guitar Center. Those biscuits!

I still have several friends employed by GC. I feel for them.
I used to love GC, but that was a long time ago and that store is long gone anyway

I actually feel sorry for the Guitar Center people. Getting acquired, then sucked dry by Bain Capital, is kind of like having to swim the English Channel with a concrete block strapped to each ankle. :atoz:

Based on local GC inventories, I figured they weren't doing too good. I still managed to purchase a couple of nice cabs from the GC Used listings in the last month. Sad ...

Guitar Center was really already for the seafood lover in all of us.
