Guitar Head into Bass Cab ? OK ?

    i have a Marshall Valvestate 100 Watt Guitar amp/ head (4 ohms), i want to try this into a 4 x10 Bass Cabinet 400 watt (8 ohms).

    is this ok play through for a few days till i can get a guitar cab ?

    Yeah. It likely won’t sound great but nothing will break

    One of the greatest sounding bass rigs I've ever used was a 100w Hiwatt guitar head into a single 15 bass cab. If it sounds good it is good.

    It's ok to play guitar through bass stuff, but not bass through guitar stuff, as far as cabs go; they are weak and will break, hahaha,,, guitar speakers just can't take the bass freqs I guess,,,,
