Guitar hero ruins good music...

i hope those youngsters realize how non-straight they are.

thank god i wasnt the only one to notice....

i was starting to get worried.

 

My kid wants Guitar Hero for Xmus. What pisses me off is, if he would just sit and play a REAL guitar as much as he is going to play this plastic piece of crap he would learn to REALLY play. I can't complain to much however, he is a good drummer.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if he thought he was playing keyboards.

 

Whoo! Guitar Hero! A slight less expensive way to spend hours playing the guitar without having to worry about getting paid for gigs or laid!

 

I dunno about you guys but I think they sound just like the original!!!! :scowl:

So I guess it's entertaining and all but I wonder if people really think they can play guitar just cause they do well on Guitar Hero? The South Park episode on this is hilarious!

And last, this just brings up sooo many questions about the human psyche...I mean, who decides "hey, THIS sounds like a good idea!"

 

Guitar Hero is a fun video game. It's no substitute for playing anything, though.

Edit: I did enjoy the fact that the bassist is behind the guitarist during the entire song. This is how it should be.
