Guitar Pro or Guitar Studio

    Does anyone out there use either of these? if so where do you find stuff for guitar studio? i've searched the threads here and i was unable to locate any info on either of these programs. any info will help.

    I used guitar pro at a freinds house. It's pretty good but I wouldnt buy it.

    Powertab, which is similar software, is free and has pretty much all the same facilities as GP does.

    GP does, however, alow you to square off riffs in bars that can help a lot. It can become an irritation at times though. GP does have a drum machine though, which is pretty good but nothing spectacular.

    Songs are available for GP at www.mysongbook.com / www.mysongbook.net , songs are available for powertab at www.powertabs.net .
    I've never tried the other one you mentioned.
