    Anybody used this?

Is it any good for synthy - electronica sounds or is it just emulating classical stomp boxes?

I've used it for recording and was blown away by the versatility. It definitely has the ability to get some VERY "synthy" sounds.

It depends what your using it on, if you're a mac guy I'd stay away.
PC users including myself have had great luck eventually.

Plenty of very cool sounds available and best of all very tweakable.
I sold all my rack gear to instead use GR2, but then again I'm not looking for retro sounds, allthough many are possible.

If you are looking forward, this is the future, IMHO of course.
But be warned there are many issues with RK2 on many machines and hardware.
Go to their forums to read the horror stories, especially in mac land.
I was also a GR1 user and liked it but GR2 is a huge leap into creative sounds and more sound design stuff. And definately more electronic like Adrenalinn kinda stuff.
    Good Luck,

Im gonna be palying live drum and bass. I know I wont be able to get a bass sound that sounds produced, but i dont really want that anyway.

I just want pretty much complete freedom with my sound. Can you add plugins?

Also is the midi/audio interface in the Kontroller compatible with other software?

    Also, hows the latency?
