Anyone playing Tele and/or Strat on occasion through a GK bass head?
Maybe I can use one bass head for guitar & bass for the time being...

I've played my Les Paul a bunch of times through my GK 700RB-ii head/Ampeg SVT-15en. I think that if I made the switch to guitar, I'd keep the bass rig. Love it.

As for a Tele, I've only played a Squier Affinity through my rig for a short period of time (like, a few minutes), and it sounds fine. Nice and full.

The general rule is that it's better to play guitar through a bass rig than it is to play a bass through a guitar rig.

Guitar through a 400RB or 800RB is great with the right cabs. I fairly regularly play steel guitar through my dad's 800RB and Bag End S15/S12 stack (EVM speakers). Pedal steel with is setup biamped is incredibly lush and electric guitar is great. My dad swaps out an EV ST350B tweeter for the 12" and plays acoustic guitar through it.

I don't think the 1001RB-II is as nice for guitar, the voicing isn't as complimentary in my experience.
