is it possible to play electric guitar through a bass amp? cos ive been wanting to learn electric guitar (acoustic can only go so far, especially with no cutaway lol), but i dont want to shell out for a cheap amp cos im terrible that way. thaaanks

  2. it will be fine. great blues and jass tones out of bass amps. it wont hurt anything.

  3. Nope, won't be a problem. Think about the Fender Bassman ... the nec plus ultra for some guitar players.

Nothing wrong with it but you can only get clean tones. unless you use a distiortion pedal but still it doesnt sound like a guitar amp with the built in distortion.

  5. Not so. That depends entirely on what amp you're using.
