I was talking to a guitarist. I told him to listen to "Sinister Minister"... he listens to it, and says "I like the guitar parts, and the one short slap bass part."

  2. Guitar is just a 6-string bass that went through the laundry.

They still can't get over that.

  3. I don't get it...

The icing would be if he said he liked the drummer.

Did you have him listen to the live or studio version? That makes all the difference in how dumb he is.

Yeah, I never got the whole stereotyping thing. Jerk musicians are jerk musicians, no matter what they play.

He is stupid because there is no guitar in minister.

I play guitar just as frequently as bass, so i get to make fun of both.

    Of course not.

But I can see why bassists dislike guitar players. I only know *one* personally that is a fantastic player AND has a level head. And he's my uncle. I guess my Dad is pretty good too.

I know plenty that are complete morons. Can't say the same about bass players that I know.

Well, the banjo sounds guitarish in that song. The banjo is a pretty stereotyped instrument. If it isn't busting out bluegrass, it ain't banjo.
