Where's a good shop to check out guitars or basses in Grand Rapids, MI? In town for the day, killing an hour or two.

  2. if you had more time you could head east to Lansing to visit the famous Elderly Instruments.

Depends what you're looking for. None of the stores carry any high end stuff. Lots of MIM Fender around as well as Ibanez and Peavey/Dean/Schecter.

Check out Firehouse Guitars, RIT, and Rainbow. Elderly if you have time to get to Lansing.

    Cool. Thanks!

No time for Elderly, unfortunately; I think we're going to head back towards the coast this afternoon. It's hot out here!
