  1. Anyone tried one of these? How do they stack up against a Bass Balls?

I owned a BR2 for a while. To me, it sounded similar to an EBS Bass I.Q. in Hi-Q mode (if that helps?). On the pedal I had, I noticed a slight bass boost when I swithched it on. Also, I liked the dynamic response of the BR2. It responded very well to picking/finger attack. I liked the BR2, and I thought it was great for the price, but ultimately I sold it because it wasn't "tweakable" enough for me.

As far as the Bassballs, I tried a used original Bassballs pedal years ago and didn't like it, so I'm not a Bassballs fan.

FWIW, if I buy another envelope filter type foot pedal it will be a Maxon AF-9. I tried one about a month ago and really liked it!
