Hal Leonard: Bass Lesson Goldmine Series

    Came across this new series while browsing amazon. They look promising and the guitar version have had positive reviews for the most part. I was intrigued so ended up pre-ordering the blues and jazz editions for $18 each.

    It'll be interesting to see how they stack up to Ed Friedlands, which have become the gold standard over the years :)

    Im interested in the Blues book. seems to be much thicker than Ed's, which is what I'm working through now. I guess we'll see if the content matches the exra pages.

    Doesn't look like it initially, there is one for guitar, maybe they'll add more genres in time.
