    you could try just strings.com

    i don't know if they have what you want
    but it's a place to start

    Labella's=hard to find! :meh:

  3. it doesn't have to be labellas. If anyone knows what the labellas super steps are, they have a metal string at the bridge so the action is different (I want this so my fretless, i think, will sound more like a double bass), like the bass on the image (the B-E strings). I want this ''metal wire'' but with half rounds so it won't chew my rosewood neck.

    thanks! jazzyteen

    D'ADDARIO makes half-rounds..
    do you need 4,5 or 6 string set?

    woodenteeth's suggestion of just strings is a good place to start your search.

    Ken Smith does some interesting 'softer' strings as do Rotosound (jazz), GHS (brite flats) and D'Addario (halfwounds).
    Juststrings seem to have the largest range.
