I was hoping someone would post a Holloween update yesterday with the most current Mothman sighting.

Could have missed it, but where has it been?

Someone bought it. I don’t think anyone knows exactly who, though.
Kinda bummed the new owner isn’t active here.

Perhaps they are here and listening, just too embarrassed! Closet Mothmanite.

Makes me a little nervous when no one knows where the Mothman is... could be anywhere... I locked the doors and turned off all the lights last night, and surrounded myself with basses I trust....

Fingers crossed we get another sighting soon. That beast is too awesome to remain hidden!

I do indeed own it, and i just got a case built for it. Thanks be to Blue Heron for they are good with the building, and reasonably priced to boot.

If you can see the Mothman, it can see you.

If you can’t see the Mothman, you may be just moments from death.
  12. Excellent job with the custom case! A mere zipper will not contain the bass. I trust the gigbag was doused with holy water first.

Uncased, I'd be worrying about it :poop: in corners or under my bed.

Very clever. The bag makes it seem like you are transporting a bass balalaika. But once the bag is opened . . . too late. The Mothman is upon you.

A CASE! Yes! I trust it is a HARD case with good strong multiple latches!
I can think of no greater and moral purpose for a couple 4 x 8 sheets of marine grade plywood!

Oh no! A gigbag! Expect to wake one morning with it slashed from end to end (from the inside out) and Mothman no where to be seen!

I could do that. Got ordained years ago through the Universal Life Church years ago.

I thought about a hard case. but I didn't feel like lugging around that much extra weight.

Have you been taking it out and playing it in public?

I'm the owner/builder of Mothman's arch enemy Banjozilla. I just played it on a float in the Fillmore Christmas parade a few weeks ago.

Since you are also in So Cal, we should get together sometime for an Epic Duel photoshoot.

It's a big mistake to try to be practical when dealing with something as powerful as Mothman! Trust me!

PS. As owner of a very large Wishbass that came with a very sizable coffin hard case I can understand your viewpoint, But in spite of the hard case I"m still pretty sure the Wishbass can be trusted...
  19. Kawai cares not for the Mothman!! Where is Mothgirl?!?!?!

Obviously here in TB every Kawai fantasy is our command!
MothMaiden may have escaped from the secret room under the mothman owner's shed, but she is not forgotten! No doubt she does not miss having lotion lowered to her in a basket, but yet, I'm sure that these days she still feels the loss of Mothman from her life!
