ya I know..... I didn't know Bunky was on the talkbass forum until now. Looks like he just joined. ( he wants this one but it is not a Jackson TBX )
well maybe someone who has one will see this thread and PM you with a sale and your hunt will be over.
This one is similar, but not exact- knobs are in a different configuration. I'm a noob to the forum- any idea where I could post to get this identified? On the bottom of the fretboard is "J5465" so I believe it was made in 1995, and again looks like the TBX but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated!
that is a USA version t-bird you can't look up the serial on those converters. That was made in Ontario Cal. in 1989. I think someone added that lowest pot but you would have to turn it over and let me see the inside.
Thanks a lot, Amimbari. Here is a pic of the backside with the panel open. Does that help or should I take one more zoomed in/out?
no that is fine. Someone added that je2000 preamp in there ---- I mean who uses masking tape and nobody soldered a ground onto that lower pot to tie it into the others ...lol Anyway, it was probably a passive with the 2 knobs and switch when it left the factory.
