Hamer Violin Bass!

    "bass of the month" at the bottom in the flash section-
    looks like a long-scale- odd 1+3 headstock too.

    I wondered what bass it was on Van Halen's "In & out"- I thought it was a P bass with dead roundwounds- turns out it was this- with active EMG's too:eek:

    I saw Jack Blades (former bass player for Night Ranger and Damn Yankees) using a Hamer Violin Bass when he was playing with Ringo Starr. IIRC, Jack's Violin Bass had a (4 tuners on one side) "Hockey Stick" headstock and the traditional violin sunburst finish.
