Where are the handles on the SVT 810E cab and how do you guys who have one go about transporting the cab?

There's a towel bar on the back and two casters on the bottom, so you just tilt up the front and move it as if you were moving something on a dolly.

  4. I've done it quite a bit... (moving one up and down stairs  ) you get help from the drummer and carry his hardware bag in return. :p

I actually do it often in helping w/ load ins at sound engineering gigs. on and off stage too. Two methods:
    1) They have wheels, just like a dolly. Ever seen soemone take a dolly up/down stairs? works fine. It's a big load, but do-able. especially if your a big strong young buck ;)

2)most new 8x10's have plastic rails on the back of the cab so you can just lean it against the stage and pull it up and on backwards, sliding it up. I've seen guys just slide it up and down stairs on these. one guys used a short rope. other, just his hands.

    either way, it works.

    oh
    3) Two people pick up and carry, w/ drummer on bottom ;)

  6. I added side handles onto my SVT 810E, but it was still a nightmare lifting it up onto 4 or 5 foot stages.
We had one roady, but it was impossible for him to manage without my help and the rest of the band members refused to go near it after our guitarist wrenched his back the very first time I used it.

It spent most of its life in my house while I used more manageable cabs, which was my main reason for selling it a couple of years back. Shame because it was a great cab.
