Super nice 5 string bass that I don't use. Mesquite body with flamed maple top, unique maple neck, EMG-X active pickups. New condition. This is a powerful, professional bass and compares favorably to Sadowsky, Lakland and has been compared to Ken Smith's work. Way too much bass for me and never use it. AFAIK, it's never been gigged. Comes with hard shell case. It was made by local luthier Bob Mick. He is not well known, but his basses are used by Ed Friedland and Brian Bromberg. Bob doesn't have a website, but if you google Bob Mick Bass you will get some good info. PM email me at [email protected] if you'd like more/better photos/info. Trade interests: Will trade down for USA or MIJ Fender Jazz bass. Fullerton USA Jazz or Precision. (I already own enough P basses though) Love G&L's bought have most of that covered except an El Toro or JB, maybe an SB-2. Would trade up for the right Vintage Rickenbacker 4001. Other than that try me.
Boy o boy, that is nice. Truly wish I had something for ya. Any full pics of the back of the neck? Is it maple also?
Back of the neck looks like mesquite. I will try to add a photo of that and the cavity. Preamp is EMG also, Scale is 34". Weight is a svelte 9lbs. Balance is perfect.
String-spacing @ bridge? Thanks. Something about this instrument has that Pedulla Thunderbass vibe to it. Nice build. I love stuff that's unknown to the masses. EDIT: Seen it, 19mm.
