Mr. Reichel just released Yuxo (a New Daxophone Operetta).

i've loved listening to his first Daxophone Operetta: Shanghaied on Tor Road.

quite the musical inventor he is.

    check out his FLASH site:

he's such an influence on me, i've paid tribute with a little 3D ditty:

Daxophone. Sorry to be so clueless, but is that an instrument? Or a character on Star Trek? Or.... ?

    no prob guys.

i was lucky to see him perform a guitar duet with Fred Frith in Seattle around 1987.

    couple of jokers, they are.

check out his guitar designs on the webpage. he's my hero!

Reichel is a true genius. The Daxophone is very cool, but his crazy self built guitars are a better vehicle for him personally as a musician IMO. I highly recommend checking out some of his older recordings.

  10. forgot about this... the comp i have is called "gravikords, whirlies & pyrophones" lots of good stuff on there.
