    I just won this gem!

It's the deluxe version of my first real bass...

    (headstock seen here)

I bought it in 81 (pict from 84-85)... I sold mine in the late 80's and have been searching eBay for over 2 years longing for a part of my youth. so... on my 36th birthday, the first one I've spotted in my *exact* body style, I won

    :hyper: w00t! :bassist:

interesting looking... its like ... looking back at you!

Wont that silvery finish wear off and become scratchy? Well anyway, if you like it, then be happy with it!
    Njoy and Happy Birthday! :D

funny thing about the heart keys... my last name is Hart

I'll most likely remove the silver and refinish black w/white binding if the old finish is too trashed.

Now that you have that bass, you HAVE to grow your mullet back! Congrats on both, by the way :)

the *new* iceman is a different shape AND a reissue from the late 70's / early 80's. Ibanez just reissued the Destroyer guitar this year as well.

    Thanks again guys!

As much as I can't wait to receive the Destroyer....

I REALLY can't wait for this bass
